Review of 2019

So I’ve summarised a list of  top 18 things that had happened in 2019.

1. My mum finally let me drive!
It’s not really a thing to remember but for someone who only gets to drive when she’s 25 year old, this is definitely something that I want to record it down. Thanks to my persistence of not leaving my current job, I was forced to speak to my mum about driving and my mum was forced to let me drive. Haha. Indirectly force la ok. Also she has let me fetched her few times to shopping malls, dropping her off while I went to my appointments and fetched her back home. It’s a good sign! ๐Ÿฅฐ

2. In total I travel to 9 different places, which includes 3 different countries and 4 different local states. First I went to Kuantan for company kick off in Jan, Hanoi during my birthday while following my dad to work, but it wasn’t a pleasant trip actually ๐Ÿ˜… Then in May, I went to Hokkaido with my parents! Otaru was the place I love the most in the whole trip. In June I went to Johor, Husky’s hometown for the 1st time, meeting his parents for the 1st time as well ngehehe #nervous, and also I went to Bangkok with my colleagues (semi-free trip by Allianz as I accidentally hit the challenge haha) Then in October I went to Malacca, local trip with parents after all these years of not going to local for holiday, and went to Krabi for company trip again, this time is for Halloween! Almost all of my colleagues went and it was very very fun. From walking the streets with our Halloween costume to island hopping and conquering the whole swimming pool for monkey games, it was just so, so fun. And in November, I went for a team review trip in Penang. It was ages since I went there as well, but other than getting massage, all I remember was overused my brain for review purpose. Haha. But of course, it was a fruitful trip as it helps me to understand myself better. The next day I arrived in KL from Penang, I got to pack and depart to Phuket the next day! Everyone was saying that I might as well sleep in airport hahaha #mymumplansone

3. After 25 years, finally I started indoor wall climbing. It was a childhood dream come true. I wanted to climb when I was small, and I remember having the chance to try in a shopping mall (which I think is also in One Utama) but I didn’t because I was wearing long skirt. Actually it didn’t matter because it was just a short climb, probably I was afraid back then. And this year Nek wanted to try, so both of us went for Camp5’s Basic Wall Course and started to climb. By the end of the year, even Husky tried it because of his friends. Somehow I like bouldering more. Maybe not as mafan as the Top Rope where you need a person to belay you, and not as scary as the Autobelay because when you come down, you fly down. I mean free fall. IT IS SCARY. ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ซ Maybe i should try Bump in Jaya One next year.

4. After 3 years of dating, finally I met Husky’s family! Road to Johor was tiring, even when I’m not the one driving. Haha. I was kinda worried that I can’t mix with his family but the 1st thing that his mum said when we arrived was: “็ฅž็ป็—…ๅ•Šไฝ ,ๅ›žๆฅๆฒกๆœ‰่ฎฒ!” [You siao ah, come back never say!] Then I also echo her words, saying ya la he la, don’t want tell you he’s coming back. But thank God they are very nice to me and I feel just like home with them.

5. I moved out from my house. A week. To opposite street. Husky’s house. HAHAHAHAHA. Pardon me for laughing for running away from home, that time wasn’t funny at all. But now to think of it, IT IS FUNNY. Because I packed 5 luggages, and moved to Husky’s house which is just opposite street. And because when I moved out my parents weren’t at home, so when I came back with 5 big luggages my mum looked me at one kind. ๐Ÿคฃ Reason of moving out is work related of course. But we eventually managed to overcome it. ☺️

6. Did I mention that I travel to 9 different places? Actually I was wrong. It was 10 places! If you considered hospital as one of them. ๐Ÿ˜ So I was diagnosed with dengue, and hospitalised for 6 days. My total bill for 6days5nights were around RM 15k, technically one of the finest “hotel” that I ever stayed in. It was terrible, but at the same time I felt grateful. Terrible because I needed to take 4 times blood test a day to monitor my white blood cells and platelet count, sometimes the nurse can’t find my vein and cause super pain and blue black to me. It was terrible also because I was so itchy I couldn’t sleep, literally scratched myself to sleep; and the dripping machine beeping sound was my worse nightmare. Grateful because I had appetite to eat after the 1st day of admission, I know I’m going to be well soon but it all depends on my report. Also grateful because I survived. A friend’s  friend and a lawyer of our company passed away due to dengue not long after my discharge. It was creepy to hear the news, being a survivor of the same condition.

7. I changed my phone! It’s a small thing but it’s still a good thing. The phone I want was out of stock and we went to few places before managed to get it in The Gardens.

8. For the 1st time I watched concert in Genting with my parents and Husky and also my colleagues. It was free tickets by the way, and the singer wasn’t someone very famous but it was a good experience anyway.

9. My parents experienced trees fallen on their car when they were coming back home during a rainy day. The windscreen cracked, the side mirrors were broken, couldn’t start the car either, thank God for people who came and helped to remove the fallen branches, one even took a parang and chopped off thicker branches. Thank God my parents weren’t hurt, and thank God for angels around them. ๐Ÿ˜‡

10. After the fallen trees incident, while my dad was waiting for the car to be fixed, he ended up being promoted and gotten another new company car. God’s timing is always perfect. :’)

11. Husky got a full time job! At least now his life is better than before. :’)

12. One of our extended family members got himself a major trouble and is currently serving his punishment while waiting for results, but at least he’s protected.

13. Dad got a free MiBand 3 from lucky draw!

14. I got closer to Bernice this year, probably due to similar family background and we are also MRT kakis haha!

15. Husky and I attended 2 weddings this year, one is my ex-colleague and another is his badminton friend. So many of our friends got hitched this year. But 2 weddings are enough la haha #toomanyredbombs

16. Met up with my high school buddies, Hezrin and Auni after 5 years OMG. These people ah, need to force them out from house one only they are willing to come out and see me. #willseethemagaininnext5years ๐Ÿ˜’

17. This year is a gadget year as Husky gave me a power bank and hard disc as gifts for me this year haha!

18. FINALLY IN A MILLION YEARS I SEE COLOUR ON MY HAIR! Got my hair dyed brown in salon for the 1st time. Last 2 times I used self-dyed bubble wash but I need to be under the sun only can see the colour. I wasn’t sure whether I like my new hairstyle either at first, but it was okay after that.

So these are my top 18 highlights of 2019. Hope that 2020 will be a better one as I get rid of my weaknesses and use them as my strengths! Changes aren’t easy but it helps in growing. Especially when I’m turning 26 next year! Feel like turning into 30 anytime soon. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Indoor Rock Climbing

So today I finally tried out indoor rock climbing!!! Been wanting to this out since I was very young.

Still remembering the time when there was a mini wall in the center of One U Concourse for kids, but I was wearing long skirt, so I didn't try out. :(

And after more than 10 years, I finally did my 1st indoor rock climbing! Somemore w my Nek!

She was complaining and grumbling about her body ache from pole dancing yesterday, I just stared at her with the you-are-the-one-who-ask-me-to-climb-today look.

So we went to Camp5 for the climb. Convenient as it's in One U only. First 2 hours were boring, like all sports, you just need to know the basics and of course safety measures. Then it came to the practical part, where I just realised I almost freak out when I'm halfway the wall. And because I'm too scared to lift my legs higher than my waist. Probably because I can't trust my belayer which is Nek HAHAHAHA!! Kidding, we're so new, I don't think we trust ourselves too. xD

We took turns being the climber and belayer (the one who pull and push the rope for you to climb up and down), we were also introduced to the Autowall (don't know what's the name), which is very interesting as you don't need a belayer, just that when you come down, you just fly down.

The scariest part was the climbing down part because you need to let go of your hands from the wall and hold the ropy only. For the Autowall you can't even hold onto the rope!

And the last wall was the Boulder Cave, very short wall, you don't even need a rope. But just in case you fall, there are cushions down there to support you.

Would love to go back there always! And yes, I got my Basic Wall Course certificate which allows me to climb walls everywhere in the world!!

Beauty & the Beast

Me and Nek went to watch movie again, this time not a cartoon but it's related to cartoons.

Beauty & the Beast is by far I think the most original version of a Disney movie. It's anticipated, if you know the story well. Others like Snow White & the Huntsman, I don't know even know the story anymore.

This movie gives you the Disney feel when you visit Disneyland. Oh how I miss those times when I went to Disneyland. The magical feels just make you feel oh so joyful.

And Emma Watson! So pretty! Pity the Beast, who only have the chance to appear as a human at the end of the movie hahahaha.

Fascinated by its visual effect and songs, love the overdo makeup and hairstyle too!

What's the next cartoon that we're going to watch eh Nek? :P

Delayed our date on the 31st and celebrate Nek's birthday on the 8th! WOOHOO SOMEONE JUST GREW OLDER AGAIN!

Went to Gangnam 88 for Korean food (the last time I ate Korean food was in November in Korea ahaha), I expected the Kimchi BBQ and Kimchi soup will be spicy until I couldn't take it but no, it was just nice.

"Should I eat the plate?" :P
"Wah so many colourful plates!" xD
Nice shot taken by the staff :D

Then we went to e-Curve to watch Moana, yes cartoon again hahaha. But I quite like this movie, reminds me of Brother Bear. So meaningful and touching movie. Make me wanna watch Brother Bear again. :P

01.01.17

No last emo post for the last day of 2016.

No excited post for the first day of 2017.

Because all I feel is...contented.

Contented of what I'm having, even though I still argue with my Mum a lot, even though I still don't have much to talk with my Dad, even though my bf is not the tallest, richest and handsomest bf in the universe, even though my Nek is still thinner than me, even though my job doesn't give me the highest salary in the world, even though I'm still waiting for God to answer my some of my prayers.

But I know my Mum protects me, I know my Dad loves me, I know my bf cares for me, I know my Nek gets fatter already, I know I had learned so much in my company, and I know that I will get answers from God someday, just as I always have.

Turning from 21 to 22 is not a big deal because I still had exams in January back then, it doesn't change much as my status was still a student.

But then turning from 22 to 23 is a whole lot of big deal.

My status doesn't change, from an employee to... still an employee. Just a not so newbie employee anymore.

Usually they call those who are in their early 20s as young adult. And in few more years time, the 'young' word will be stripped off, no more young anymore. Officially adult. Getting-old adult.

*Cries*

Where did my youth go? Cannot la, must achieve more things when I'm still a young adult! But I always find myself standing at the same circle, going nowhere than where I'm always been.

Need to start achieving goals instead of making them. How to make new resolutions if the old ones are still stuck underneath somewhere?

Starting by using time well. I've made a planner to avoid myself from browsing too much FB or Instagram. :D

The key to success is to fully utilize our time and create more productivity.
- Quote by Jasmine Ng -

Remember to jot it down and make it your life mantra. ;)

By the way, there wasn't much fireworks when the time reached 00:00. Spending too much in 2016, eh?

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. - Hebrews 11:6 -

Peace.

I know that there are many people in the world who doesn't believe in the existence of God.

There are even theories out there that says Man is actually the one who created God because when there is no hope they create a 'God' to give them hope.

And there are also many testimonies that tells stories of successful people. They have great jobs, they have faithful spouses and beautiful kids, they manage to go through each obstacles that they face, everything seems to be perfect but what is lacking is the emptiness in their hearts.

To me I often question myself, what is the difference of having God in my life. What if I deny His existence? What if I don't know His existence at all?

Then I compare my life in secondary school and now.

I know that it's a normal process for people to change due to some situations and that's the meaning of maturing.

But I realise that I can't fill up the emptiness in my heart without God.

Sure enough, there are motivation articles and books about thinking positive out there to help us set our mindset straight.

When they say, don't worry about your problems, they will be gone over time, I will feel that so where do the problems go actually? How are they going to solve themselves?

But with God in my heart, I know where the problems go. They surrender to God. Hahaha I think I can say that. God is bigger than our problems, as what we are always told, so when they say don't worry, have peace, I know that God is my solution.

The ultimate difference of not having God in our lives and having God in our lives is not that we won't have problems in our whole lives, but we understand that there's God behind our backs who will help us to learn more about patience and have peace in our hearts, and by that we won't feel insecure on where our problems will go.

Nek shared a video to me yesterday about a baby who is in serious condition and may not be able to survive, and how the baby's parents encouraged each other with prayers and faith which turn into peace in their hearts. It was very touched as they really have faith and trust in God that whatever situation it may be, they have peace in their hearts. But I can say that, their hearts can only be strengthened when both of them are of the same faith. I don't know how they are going to do it if one of them is not a believer of the same faith.

When there are no crisis in our lives we can say that we don't need God, but when something big hits us and when we're depressed, that's the time when we cry for help. If it's that so, why not have God in our lives without having a crisis to happen? That way we know that our hearts are stabilized with His existence all the time.

Lately I've been feeling contented with Husky. Even though we have conflicts now and then, I still feel contented. But that feeling immediately change into fear as I'm scare that the happiness that I'm having now won't last long. This has nothing to do with him and it's all about my emotion. Therefore, this post is to remind myself that I shouldn't let fear takes away my happiness that I deserve. Otherwise, what is the difference of having God in my life? He is always in control of everything. :)

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Just Keep Swimming

So me and Nek went for a movie date, and yes, it's cartoon again ------ FINDING DORY.

Such a coincidence that Nek told me Finding Nemo was located in Sydney AND I actually watched Finding Nemo in the bus so watching Finding Dory after Finding Nemo just makes enough sense. Haha.

As both of us quite like to sleep, and we agreed to depart at 11+am, but when both of us woke up at 10+am, we were like, I'm going back to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. -.-

By the way we reached The Curve around 11.10am, and went to e-Curve to buy tickets before going to the McD at the Kidzania Center. Met up with the so chubby Shawn (OMG SO CHUBBY AND HANDSOME!!!!!!) and also had a talk with Nek's sister (Ah Yi Po xD), then we jalan-jalan until 3.45pm to watch Finding Dory.

Small little Dory is sooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeee OMGGGGGGGG!

Overall it was a great movie, and the moral of the story is JUST KEEP SWIMMIIIINNNGGGGGG~~~~~~~ In other words, don't give up and keep going! Also be like Dory, who does things without needing to think so hard and plan so hard, see what do what, that's it. HAHA.

And we also stayed till the very end for the ending credit. Teehee. After back we went to IKEA and bought currypuffs. My all time favourites. ;D

Nek wore a maxi today hehehehehe

PC: Nek

Oh Oh!!! I bought a earcuff in Lovisa for only RM12!!!!!
A day well-spent with my beloved Nek.

Simplicity

So today was a busy day for me. After church, Nek fetched me to eat prawn mee for lunch.

Then we went to Tesco to collect our movie tickets which were booked by Nek. By the way, the price for the couple seats is the same as 2 single seats. HAHAHAHAHA. So we chose the couple seat. HAHAHAHAHA. Oh, we watched cartoon because I owed Nek a cartoon movie time since last year June, when Minions were released. But I ffk, so finally I repaid the movie time back to her hahaha.

We still have an hour before the movie starts, so we walked around inside Tesco. Obviously there isn't any places to walk around, so we played the toy claw machine and tried to get a Stitch.

I managed to have the machine clawed the Stitch halfway, but that's the highest I can get because it dropped the Stitch after that. So sad. :'(

Somebody took this picture without me knowing,
too focus on getting the Stitch dy hahaha
After countless times, we gave up and went into MBO to watch....  ANGRY BIRDS!

Hahahahaha yes we watched Angry Birds, and we learned a few moral values from it such as:

: Anger can make you feel motivated.
: Birds and pigs are enemies.
: Drawing can help you to release stress.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay la, the main point is that anger isn't the solution to every problems. Even if you bomb yourself, the issue is still there so you need to be calm and figure out what's the solution. ;D

After that we went to Cova to fetch Gorgor and we went to Desa Park City together. It was raining a bit when we reached there. -.- And no Bear Bear today because the pet shop doesn't want to groom him hahahahaha.

We met Iguana with Piebald (not againnnnnnnn) at the dog park, and around 6+ that Husky came to join us. Okay so we actually talked to each other again, but that's another story la. :P

And the story regarding me and the dogs, well that's a love-hate relationship. It's said that the dogs cans sense whether we're afraid of them or not so dogs keep rejected me. Not because I really scare la, I like to hug them and all (absolutely no problem with Bear Bear okay), but when they over active ah, I tell you ah, I wanna hide behind a tree liao.

Like this corgi name Coffee, we kept playing with him. Got one time he was walking towards me, I was so the happy and delightful until the last second when it turned to Husky. Everybody laughed, especially Husky. -.-

Want to take a proper picture also susah. -.-
See this Husky, touch the corgi until cannot stop like that. Hmph.
There were also 2 Golden Retrievers who kept on passing by, walking in between me and Gorgor as if we don't exist.

The saliva of the dogs today were excessive and whoever hugged them will kena their saliva. One hush puppy even sneaked into Gorgor's handbag and saliva was all over all her bag and her cardigan HAHAHAHAHA!

Before we left Desa Park City, the owner of Coffee told us that Coffee refused to go home because he was attracted to a female dog and kept looking far far away to see if she was still there hahahaha! The owner almost needed to beg Coffee to go back home. I was like, don't like this okay, got fate will meet her again one HAHAHA!

After that we went to Kepong Bahru pasar malam, Gorgor and Nek bought few stuff while my eyes went blink blink blink whenever I saw tarts, cakes, and even coconut ice-cream! Hahaha!

Today was actually a very simple day. No luxurious places, no exclusive food, no fancy clothes, but it was lovely just because I got to spend my day doing simple things with people who are close to me.

Eating prawn mee and not going to cafes is simple, trying to get a soft toy from the toy claw machine is simple, watching cartoon movie is simple, going to Desa Park City to enjoy the nature and spending time with dogs are simple, straying in pasar malam is simple.

The only downside is... my choker hilang already. *sob* As you can see from my selfie with Nek, the choker was still there. Then... it was gone. *wail* It wasn't until we went to pasar malam and I saw a lot of chokers only I realised that it is missing. Sigh.

But overall I had fun. Simple things add up and it's happiness. :')

Ps: All pictures credit to Nek :P

Betrayed

They say, those who are closest to you will have higher chance to betray you because they know the most.

And it proves to be true.

I was betrayed by my Nek on Saturday.

Past.

Had a conversation with someone yesterday on how our past have the ability to haunt us despite our sincere remorsefulness and unwillingness to look back.

Well, most of the time we are unwilling to think of them anymore, just that sometimes we can't control other people's mouth and geh-po-ness. *roll eyes*

Back then when we were teenagers, we have no idea what this world has for us. We are curious, and we tend to do things in our ways. Many times, we don't understand why elders keep stopping us to do something that we think that is okay to do.

And sometimes, this feeling accumulated to anger. When anger takes control of your mind, you won't have any idea on what you were doing and everything just takes place by its own.

Teenagers want to be listened, want to be accepted, and they want to be acknowledged.

We will never stop making mistakes. When we were teenagers, we did these kind of mistakes, realised that we were wrong and vow to never do it again when we are in our 20s. And then when we are in our 20s, we did a different type of mistake. And again, we will regret doing the mistakes when we are in our 30s. Taking the wrong course, making the wrong decision, falling in love with the wrong people, mistakes just never end. But we don't take them as something that stop us from moving forward.

We learn, and we make mistakes again, just that this time, it might be different kind of mistake.

Sometimes we look back, we feel so..ugly. Yes, we are better people now, we don't make the mistakes that we once did. If we were given a chance, I believe that we will make things right.

But that's the irony of life, isn't it? We don't have a chance to turn back the clock, erase our mistakes and be perfect. That's it, nobody's perfect.

Who we are today, is due to whatever happened in the past. But we don't let them conquer our future, not even our present.

What's more important is, when we did those mistakes, those who know what happened, our parents, our friends, God, chose to accept and love us, and they never stop loving us.

The blessing in disguise of the mistakes is that we got the chance to see who truly love us. And who leave us when we were at our worst situation, or when our past is mentioned in the present.

Perhaps one day, when our past is once mentioned, we will be able to feel thankful as without the mistakes that we made, we won't be who we are today. :)

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. - Jeremiah 29:11 -

Special News of the Day:
Congrats Nek for being able to enter her new stage of life! No I don't mean getting married hehehehe (even though I also hope to be flower girl fast fast la :P) Finally you're out of the unemployment statistics! Yay!! Unlike meeee. Boohoohoohoo. :'(

Being 22

Typing this on the 22nd of Feb is so ironic. Hahaha. Wanted to go throw mandarin oranges just now but it was raining. Ahahahaha. Just kidding. I don't do that kind of things just to get a bf. Who needs one when you're happy right? ;D

I always think that people who write, think a lot. They think about their purpose in their lives, they think about life, they think about what to write about the purpose in their lives. Hahaha. Basically, a philosopher. Modern one, may I add.

After finishing my finals, I think a lot about what's life gonna be, for someone who has turned 22. And I got a lot to write about it.

Family
Basically I learn to appreciate my close ones more. Especially my family. Especially, my mum. We are known to treat each other as best friends, not the very formal mother-daughter kind of relationship. But because of it, we argue a lot and made my dad headache. As if he has two daughters with very similar characteristics. Hehehe. After the break up, I realised how much I would like to be appreciated, especially when it comes to small little things.

Hence, I learn to fulfill my mum's wishes, trying to fulfill them immediately and not saying later or tomorrow first. For example, when she needs my help in teaching her how to edit the words in Microsoft Word, I'll again and again remind myself to be more patient to her, after all that she had done for me, she does deserve my patience as well. Unless she snapped at me for not understanding her problems then probably I'll snap back that she doesn't know my explanation for her problems. Hehehe.

And Nek loves how much I say I love you or I miss you to her back. So the last time she says I love you to me, I just told her that I love her too. Meaning it as well, not because to just return her the words that she had said.

If these small little things can make people around me happy, why not?

Financial
When you're 22, it means that you're an adult. Some people take it as a token to go clubbing and gambling. Others take it as having more responsibility. By the time you're 22, no matter what field you're studying, I believe that one should know how to handle money. By that, I mean how to save money, how to control your expenses, and if you have extra savings, then the question will be how to make your money grow. In other words, investment.

I know that some people love to watch videos or play games during their free time. It's great to have ourselves entertained and relax, but as a 22 year old, we gonna learn how to handle our money. Maximise the usage of internet would be great because there are a lot of free information (articles/videos) out there. Or by reading books like Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki or Top Money Tips by KC Lau.

Many might think that money is not important but when you need it, trust me, you'll be in trouble because you'll have sleepless nights everyday thinking about the unsolved problems. Unfortunately for me, I don't really have savings in my bank other than what I got from internship because I don't have monthly allowance from my parents since young. It's always the "you want how much I give you but you need to tell me what you wanna use it for" or the "you got everything already still want money for what" phrases. And also because of the "our family still can survive you don't need to work part-time job". -.- But on and off they do give me some ang pao for big days like finals or birthday la. So to do investment, I need to start from zero, as in when I get my very first permanent job. Earn money, save money, handle money with care. ;)

Blog
Yes, this blog. Started since 2009. 7 years of blogging woohoo! Recently I had changed the layout and I love it so much! Whether it's the font of the posts, or the wallpaper, or even the pastel blue, I love it all!

Nice right?!
I'm constantly following fashion bloggers' blogs to know the trend and what's happening. Envy them so much for not working 9 to 5 jobs. Hahahaha.

I still have two travel posts yet to be updated, one about Bangkok and another about Hanoi. Both also second-time trips. Because I always have a lots of things in my mind so I kept on delay blogging about my experience when I travel. And I won't be so free to blog so much after I got my permanent job! :'(

Career
So me right now. Hahahahaha.
My mum mentioned that next week is already March and it's something that I didn't realise at all. Hope to get some news by this week! #Mondaynoblues

Final Results
Since next week is already Monday, it means that results for the finals will be out very soon! Not just results! But our honours as well!!! Super nervous already. And our convocation...it's still a looooooong way to go. *sigh*

Dreams
I still haven't give up on wanting to learn coffee art, own a boutique, own a cafe, travel around the world, etc etc. Gah, why some people don't have dreams at all and I have too many! I guess focus is the main point here. We can't exactly want to achieve everything at the same time. So what we need to do is to do things according to one step at a time. Which one to focus first, will be another good question to think of. At the age of 22, you need to have some dreams in your life. They are the goals of your life and when you have something to look forward, you will be excited about life.

Health
They say that health is wealth. Which is sooooo true. What's the point of sacrificing sleep to earn money and then to use the money earned to lay on the hospital to get good sleep.

God
Whether it's good or bad times, I learn that there's some reasons behind the situations that we face and it's something that God wants us to know. Instead of asking God "why?", we should look deeper and discover the lessons that we are able to learn. From there, we gain strength, we gain peacefulness in our hearts. And we learn to thank God and love more.

Although I can't always see You or what You are doing, Lord, I rest in Your love for me.

CNY in SEGi 2016.

I would like to start my post with this picture!

Start this post with Choi San Ye! Gong Hei Gong Hei!!

This is my 2nd time celebrating CNY in SEGi. When Nek told me last week that there's a dance performance today, I thought she told me she'll go tengok, not go perform LOL.

Starting with the dance performance, as usual, I'm the videographer. But actually it has been quite some time since I was their videographer. Ngehehe. And I got to play with Nek's semi DSLR again so almost 80% of the pictures were taken by me, so I'll credit myself and Blackie, err, the semi DSLR, as named by Nek. *roll eyes* Lazy to credit every pictures so let's assumed everything is either by my own camera or by err Blackie. Unless stated otherwise. ;) Oh oh, if you see me and Nek in the picture, it's probably Wendy the one who took the pictures.

When the firecrackers were lit, I found myself hiding behind Nek who recorded the whole process. Felt so protective HAHAHAHA. I closed both my ears and even closed my eyes just in case the smoke went into my eyes and kena my lens. Nek very geng, close only one ear because her another hand was recording. So it was natural for her to stand in front of me. Hehehe.

The lions this year very aggressive, they kept on biting people. Same goes to the dragon. Its body kena me and Nek few times. The performance by the 24 Festival drums was a bit different as well, with the beats slowing down and decrescendo in a different way. And there are more girls in this performance. Hahahaha.
The 24 Festival Drums Performance
The lion is standing!!! Lol!
Then the whole team went indoors.
I almost wanted to ask whether I can take a can of 100 Plus and drink because I felt very hot!!
And... the dragon. Hehe.
After the whole performance finished, we took group pictures!

Our Dato!
The slimmer Choi San Ye. xD
With the SUMC juniors. :)

After that we went back to SA where they practiced for the second performance.
I suka ni!!!
Pc: Nek
I jugak suka ni! After countless blocking-her-face-with-Blackie pictures. XDD
During their practice, I got nothing to do so I selfie with Blackie. Probably I'm so pro in selfie-ing until I don't need a front camera to selfie. (Blackie takde front camera)

Tadaaaaaaa~ I just couldn't understand why my lips always look this pale. :\

Before I forget, these are the girls whom I just met for the first time today.
Jia Wen, Jennifer, Emi
With the 2 Choi San Ye~
Me with the Chinese fans~
Speaking about the Chinese fans, I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw Nek dancing with them. It's so not her style and she had been trying hard to be more elegant but she always made those Minion sound effect when she danced with the fans so it's like soooooooooooo funnyyyyyyy! xD

Then I teman her to buy F&B and I just remember that there's the Old Town White Coffee which replaced Sakura just after we finished our final exams in January. -.- So I bought its Hazelnut White Coffee. Hehehe.

We headed to MPH around 12pm when Wendy and Iguana just arrived. Hehe. They performed their second routine and we lou sang.

The lou sang before we lou it.
The lou sang when we were prepared to lou it.
The lou sang when we were lou-ing it.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Pose #1

Pose #2

Pose #3

Then we went out from MPH and posed at the staircase there.

I super suka ini!
Can somebody make the other three photobombers disappear HAHAHA
Basically except for me, Nek and Iguana, everyone changed to crazy pose. xD

I'm the only non-dancer here hahahaha
Val, Nek, Gorgor, Iguana~

Overall today was a great day. But I felt a bit down at some moment. When I saw Wendy and Iguana taking pictures outside MPH, I wanted to tease them as usual but for some reason, I just couldn't. I did take a picture of them when we were inside MPH and I felt alright. But I felt so different when I wasn't the photographer.

I wanted to laugh at their movement, I wanted to sincerely feel happy for their love, but all I could do was just starring at them blankly. I cried a little deep inside my heart, thinking this was what should be happening on me too, considering the 4 of us started our relationships around the same period.

In the end I managed to pull myself together, and continue to take group pictures with the rest. And silently I hope that they are able to overcome the obstacles and last long.

Nek always loves to take couple pictures with me, so when I thought it was just us, turned out that there were a few photobombers behind us doing crazy poses hahahahaha.

Ahahahahahahaaha :P
Somebody heeelllllppppppppp~
And with this, I end my post with this picture of them jumping!

Weeeeee!
Dear Lord, when my world is turned upside down, help me to trust You. You have always been faithful to me.

Valentine's Day 2016.

This day is the day where it's the 7th day of CNY aka Human Day aka everyone's birthday and Valentine's Day.

It's also, supposed to be the day where he'll celebrate my belated birthday and our 1st Valentine's, and I'm supposed to receive his 2nd confession, from there on this supposed to be our anniversary for many years to come.

Sad to say, plans had changed. My feelings had too, changed.

What's the point of celebrating Valentine's Day when you feel sad and hurt everyday? What's the point of receiving a Valentine's Day gift when all you receive everyday are excuses?

Nevertheless, it was special to me because I had the chance to went dating with Nek, and her Bear Bear~ :D

Starting off with having dessert in Sanda XXL, I was still full because I had late lunch so she ordered a mango something something. Then she cabut to ambil duit from ATM so I took my time to help her dessert capture #ootd.

Top View.

Front View.

Zoom In View.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh boy, I'm such a pro. xD

Then she came back with a Secret Recipe box. I was like, err you went to Secret Recipe to ambil duit?

Turned out she went and bought a cake for my belated birthday. It had been almost a month so I didn't expect it. No wonder she wanna kidnap me out these few days. :P

Red Velvet Supreme~

Me and my belated birthday cake~ :D

Ah Po and her dessert~ :D

It was still early after we finished makan so we just jalan one round and took few pictures because we assumed that later on with Bear Bear along we won't be able to take pictures. Hahaha.

This shot not bad eh Nek~

Selfie selfie~

Forever want to hide behind me because she always complaint
my hair blocks her view if she stands on my left side. *bleh*

Yeah it's me and the err tall grasses. xD

Aiyo I didn't know I got such long legs! xD

Old people nowadays ah, just can't put down their phone ah, go DPC also keep using phone,
old people nowadays ah.

Oh no! Dark clouds! :O
Speaking of dark clouds, I shared this to Nek and she was like, don't curse me lea, I wanna bring Bear Bear go gai gai lea.

After she asked me to not curse her, I looked up the sky,
and realised that there were a lot of dark clouds. Oops.

Then we hopped into her car and headed to the shops opposite Aeon Kepong to pick her Bear Bear. The moment we reached the pet shop, we were stunned because the dog that was being groomed was so small size but looked like her dog at the same time. She asked the owner to double confirm that he is her dog. With and without long fur, the difference is sooooo big!

Nek kept wondering what they did to him to make him sit diam diam. xD

Look at the furry fur!!!!

Honestly saying, over 22 years, I didn't hug a dog before. Or any animals la. Everytime I see pet dogs and when they start to come to me I'll be screaming for their owners to take them away. So when I learned that I needed to share my seat with Bear Bear throughout the journey back to DPC I was scared. So I cried. :'(

Nah I was just kidding. But it took me a while to calm him down so that he won't keep on moving around. He's nice to hold when he's sitting quietly on my lap. I even asked him to wear seatbelt which he didn't. Ngehehe. And thank God his nails were cut. Or else my skin will end up like his owner. :P

When we reached DPC, the sky looked darker as ever. Nek asked Iguana to come out with Piebald also so we met her at the dog's park.

Bear Bear refused to take a decent picture with Iguana. Hehe.

A Husky, Poodle, and err Bear Bear's furry tail.

A Husky with different eye colours!

Bear Bear probably was fed up with us taking pictures. :P

Nope, still not looking at the camera.

The high-heels-Poodle. :P

HELLO THE CAMERA SINI LA MANA LU TENGOK

Like a human toddler trying to sayang a human baby~

Clearly Bear Bear needed some sleep. -.-
As the sky got darker, Iguana went back with Pieball and her brother while me and Nek hanged around until we decided to walked back to the Waterfront.

Until, we saw this fella appeared.

CORGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY WHOSE TAIL IS THAT AT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PICTURE!

AAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW~
This is the closest I can take with this super active Corgi
because it just couldn't stop moving.

At the end, we walked back to the Waterfront, where Nek drove back home and I waited for my parents.

It was indeed God's blessing because we kept thinking that it will rain with the super dark clouds and thunder going on and thought that we wouldn't be enjoying our date. It rained heavily in my house area and her house area too. For some reason, it just didn't rain in DPC. And also because of the weather, it wasn't hot so it was overall a great weather for us to chill. Not to forget the fact that we sweat quite a lot just to chase Bear Bear. *wipe sweat*

Bear Bear grins with me! (And barks at his owner. HEHEHE!)

My fav picture with Bear Bear!
Pc: Nek

Muacks!
Pc: Nek

Nek said my eyes are as big as Bear Bear. Oh well. :P
Pc: Nek
Thank you Nek for spending this year Valentine's Day with me and also celebrated my belated birthday! Not to forget, the love letter! Glad to have you in my life. :'))) And also, glad to hugged Bear Bear!

End this post with another selfie~

God not only created us and knows us, but He is in tune to our every thought and emotion. He is there when we are anxious, excited, nervous, delighted, and heartbroken. He is there, and He understands.
