There is beauty in even the most difficult person in we can get close enough to discover it, and the pain they are giving out may be reflective of the pain they are feeling.
Ask God to help us to be patient with the 'hard side' of others. This doesn't always produce a happy outcome, but it is remarkable how often God redeems these relationships. As we encounter difficult people, by God's grace we can see and love them through His eyes.
By Your grace, Lord, help me to live peaceably with others. And help me to recognise when I'm the difficult person in other people's lives and need Your intervention. Give me the will and desire to change.
Romans 12:14-21
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[a] Do not be conceited.17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[b] says the Lord.
20 On the contrary:“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[c]
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Love is not revenge, love is not hoping those who hurt you to get bad happenings, love is not happiness to see others suffer.
But love is forgiveness, love is reconcile with each other after disagreements, love is accepting one another for who they are.
