Where Our Lips Are Sealed: Prom Night '15

Before you read, I should warn you that it will be a super long post. Hehehe.

So for this year prom, I found myself a date. Who is coincidentally my bf. Ha. Ha. Ha. Still remember how the uncle ffk me last year last minute. And made me rolled my eyes after I knew that he already has a gf but still agreed to come. *roll my eyes again*

Almost all of the Red Room people went to Prom Night. Except for Reuven and Nek who had her romantic candlelight dinner with Domino's Pizza.

Class ended at 4.45pm, earlier than usual, so me and Nek walked to Husky's house and she did my makeup. But since Iguana was already there, she helped me with eyeshadow and kicked me back to Nek for eyeliner. Different people with different profession. Hahahaha. Well, actually other than eyeshadow, everything was done by Nek. The professional (and my personal) makeup artist and hairstylist. :D

After makeup was done (I cannot recognised myself and kept asking around whether I look too kua cheong or what), I changed to my gown and when I came out I saw Husky at his usual laptop place. So I stood behind him and put on my finest smile. But then he just turned around and turned back while asking me what? -.-

So I stomped my way back to the sofa while waiting for Nek to be ready to style my hair. Nah, I was just kidding. I just walked back to the sofa, then walked back to Husky's laptop place and sat on his chair while Nek styled my hair.

But halfway she abandoned me to order Domino's pizza. :( I was holding the iron with fear that I might smack it on other people and burn them. Hahahahaha.

Then Husky came out and asked me, "Who are you? Why are you in my house?" Ahahahahahaha.

So after everything was done, it was time for Nek to say goodbye to us and headed to her candle light pizza. *wave goodbye with handkerchif*

Once we reached MPH, we waited for more than half hour for the last group of us to arrive. -.- Then we took pictures blah blah, and entered MPH.

The first thing that came across my mind was, so less people one! I thought a lot of tickets were sold! But then I think it was the arrangement that made it look like there were less people than usual. Gua.

Overall I don't quite remember what performances I had watched. Except for the performances of two Top 10 SEGi Idol finalists and Jo's performance with her sister Steph.

Then there were the Prom King & Queen session, we just kept eating our food (the food is so not worth the ticket price I tell you).

Sometimes we sat at the back there, sometimes we stood at the front there to watch performances.

And suddenly there was the Best Couple Award session. Coincidentally all of us were standing at the front. So we were pushing the two couples i.e Wendy and Iguana, Azri and Shun Long to go out. After that, they realised they didn't push me and Husky out. So they pushed us with all their energy and I stepped on my own gown twice while trying to go backwards. Ha. Ha.

In the end me and Husky plus Wendy and Iguana went out, but Azri and Shun Long stayed because apparently they were the Best Couple for last year.

Once we were out I kept hiding my face with my hands. So the paiseh laaaaaaaaaa. They did the telepathy question session, asked questions like what's your partner's favourite colour. Then changed to subjective questions like what was the reason that both of you fight the last time and what was your happiest moment.

Girls stood in front and guys behind. Wendy and Iguana were the first group, that was why they didn't have the chance to 'cheat' (all of us signaled and discussed with each other hahaha). For the fighting question, I thought of THE Monopoly Case (if got chance I shall write in details in another post okay hahahahahaha) but Husky said NCS. I was like, oh ya, compared with THE Monopoly case, NCS case happened just recently. I was reluctant because it's a sensitive issue. But then we didn't have much chance to continue discussing so okay lor.

Wendy and Iguana got kicked out this round because to Iguana, it was because Wendy looked at other girls (hohohoho Wendyyyyyyy~ xD) but to Wendy, it was about dancing which happened like, 10 minutes ago?

Moral of the story: Guys' memories are so short span. They only remember what happened just now but girls can remember from A to Z. Hehehehehe.

Then our turn. I can see the faces of SUMC members turning to serious once Xantia repeated what I said. It wasn't until when Husky fetched me back then only I knew that he was just planning to say keywords like copyright and etc, not mentioning NCS. Felt so guilty because I didn't think properly and felt like, this case already at one corner, but me mentioning NCS brought the issue back again.

Actually, if wanna say fight, as in argue, we argue almost everyday. It was through arguments we kinda fall for each other hahaha. Since the second day I knew him, he kept on kacau me and argue. Well, that wasn't really arguing, more on debating and increasing my blood pressure. In fact, we were arguing about whether it is the fact that his gf is gila, that's why my bf sot, or my bf sot, that's why his gf gila. Cannot get it? Nevermind ahahahahaha.

But if you say argue as in really argue, so far we don't have any yet. The NCS case was just a disagreement regarding nothing between us. Just that we are on different sides and we keep insisting what we knew. That's all. Nothing personal that's related to our own internal stuff. Oh, and the countless times that I'm upset with him? Nah, that's just one way interaction. Not that he really argue back or what.

Next was the happiest moment question. My mind was quite blank, because I wanted to say something like everyday is a happy day LOL. He was thinking about moments like in FRIM and etc. But, we saw John and Jamie doing the cooking action and we were like, oh the first time he cooked for me. Okay, we used that point la.

When I told Xantia and when she told the public, she was like, this is every girl's dream for a guy to cook for her~ Awwwwwww shy shy laaaaaaa. *hiding my face again*

Find it soooo funny yet so warm to know that our friends remember our moments. And that we need them to remind us of our own moments. Hahahahahaha. :')

I just think that they should ask questions on facts not subjective questions. To me, that's my happiest moment but maybe to him, it's another moment. This kind of thing can't be tallied you know. I should just bring our diary and say, you wanna know ah? You read this book la. Got happy got sad. :P

Then came the follow the music and dance part. We were like, we're musicians, not dancers. If it's Wendy and Letitia then okay la, they can win for sure. But we? The last time I danced was 3 years ago and Husky was during Xzibit, which was few months ago. Dancing is just so not us. Haha.

So there were the fast and slow songs, we just simply moved around, the other group danced like, whoaaaaaaaa, so the impressive.

The emcees wanted the crowd to cheer for each group and obviously the group with loudest cheer gets the award. Prez thought they were pointing at us so she kept on screaming like crazy and needed Iguana to go to her and calmed her down and told her she cheered for the wrong group. Chill la Prez, it's not our turn yet la. Save your voice ya. :P

At the end we got the loudest cheer, most of them came from SUMC of course. They didn't just shout, they shrieked like crazy. :P So we won, got few vouchers and a hamper each.

Haven't official (at least to our parents we are not) and we got the Best Couple Award. HAHAHAHA.

After that it was open dance. But like last year, it was the clubbing style again. Then Husky fetched me back home at 10.45pm.

I just wanna touch on the sensitive issue for one last time here. I stand at her side not because she's close to me but because I confirmed from her that she already did what she can do. To be the one in-charge means booking for rooms to practice, setting the time where everybody can make it for practice, informing the time and date for performance, asking permission to use the choreography and the music. She plays an important role and I can understand why she is tired and fed up already. Fullstop.
