3rd of Jan

So we went to Iguana's church again, woke up at 8am because their service is at 9am. Reached there just in time to see Iguana walking towards the church with eyes half-opened. Hahahahahaha.

After service was free breakfast. I was hungry, even though I had breakfast earlier. So when I saw food downstairs my eyes went blink-blink already. Hehehehe.

Main point was after church I got to join Iguana and her friends for Bible Study.

There's something about a scripture in the Bible that I couldn't really understand all this while.

Because we are understood that when we repent our sins, we are forgiven by God. But how many times can we repeat the same sins and repent, over and over again? Because it just doesn't delight God that we make mistakes intentionally and repeatedly.

Then during the Bible Study, we learned from 1 Corinthians 10:13, no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Tempted as in being tempted to do things such as, shoplifting for example. Not that they don't have money, just that they feel the excitement when they shoplift. Sometimes it's just simple things like cannot focus on revising for exams and keep on scrolling FB and Instagram. *hide my face*

Okay, maybe this is not as serious as being labeled as "commit sins" la. But I find it very true because when I know I should focus on revisions and not more than 5 minutes of revising I'll be scrolling Instagram. Or FB. Or, eating. Oh oh on the most recent case, I went and tried to curl my hair because I watched a video and realised that it might not be that difficult to curl after all. And guess what? I did it!!!! Yay!!!!!! Having know how to curl my hair on the 2nd day of January makes me happy hahahahaha. Even though it may be a little bit too late because I'm going to chop off my hair soon. Ahaha. 

Ooops, out of point again. So yea, ehem. God will not let us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. So we need to learn how to resist and not being tempted easily. Because if we keep on trying to allow the temptations to overtake our hearts, our hearts will be hardened and we will end up repeating the same mistakes. 

So today I kinda learn the meaning behind the forgiving sins thing. :D

Yeah, those are the 3 things that made me felt blessed these 2 days. Successfully curled my hair, had free breakfast (FFFOOOODDDDDDDDDDD eh I tell you there are fried indomee, buns, sandwiches, even CNY cookies omg all these are best breakfast ever apart from bread and Western breakfast hehehe) and also learned something more about the Bible verse.


Last thing before I end. I keep on countdown for exams mentally in my head until I forgot... Nek's birthday is in between today and the date for exams. ADUI. So fast and it's this coming Friday. Hopefully Iwon't forget again in these few days la. And I know la you want me to belanja you makan for birthday, no need ask me at home or not to give me hint on last Saturday la. Want so obvious mea. 22 only ma. Not 92 also. Bahahaha. :P


Heavenly Father, we pause to consider all we have in You. Grant us eyes to see Your provision and help us to remember every benefit You have given to us.
