1 Timothy 4:8

- God is always working on your miracles and breakthroughs while doing the manifestation which perhaps will only come months or years later
- Aim at heaven, you have earth thrown in; aim at earth, and you will have nothing
- Recognising that we need to build our foundation on God's word
John 1:1-2
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.
John 1:14
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- Whatever God speaks, the words represents Him
- Life = breathe
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
- The Word of God cannot fail in our lives
- We place the Word of God equals to God
Genesis 3:1
The Fall
3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
- Satan's strategy is to deceive God's words, put into questions 'Did God really say so?'
- Even though it doesn't make sense, I choose authority of God and build my life on the Word of God
- When we do something we shouldn't do, or don't do something that we should do, the Scriptures rebuke us
- God never rebuke us to condemn us but to convict and connect us.
