Take Eat Easy

Today my schedule is so fulfilled! After church service I attended Bible Study with the rest from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and they were discussing on where they want to have lunch, so time was a bit delayed here.

I was a bit gan jeong as I needed to attend Assimilation Track at 2.30pm, but I only reached the Korean Restaurant (super long time didn't eat Korean food already!) around 2pm. There were about 10 of us having lunch together, and I was sweating because the rice is hot, and the soup is hot, and I think the air-conditioned was spoiled. I couldn't feel any coldness at all!

Alright, I think it's because I was in a rush hahaha. Tansra was very kind by fetching me back to church, and then she drove back to the restaurant to finish her lunch.

After the Assimilation Track was the Water Baptism class. Just an half hour briefing, by the time the class ended Poh ah Poh and Ah Kian were already waiting for me.

The funny thing was after I walked to the outside of Sin Choi Wah Restaurant to get in the car, they decided to just have their breakfast/lunch/tea time/dinner at Take Eat Easy. Instead of waiting for me they can just straight wait me there and order their food first while I don't need to walk down to Sin Choi Wah! Hahahaha they found it so funny too.

So we chatted from 5.30pm up to 9pm, catching up with each other and listening to each other's funny stories. When I called Husky to inform him that I'm ready to leave, he told me that he was just behind me. I turned around and saw noone. But it turned out that he was enjoying his coffee and reading novel while waiting for me once he reached the place. I smacked him non stop (my way of saying hi to him, and my reaction whenever it's sad happy angry excited whatever emotions I'm having :P) and said that he drink coffee bojio. :P

I was really surprised to realise that he was there for at least half hour without me noticing him. Even when I passed by the place he sat to pay the bill! But it's scary also because it feels that somebody is stalking meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~ :P

Can't wait for October to come as there are so many activities going on! :D

The 5 of finally were reunited, and we headed to Hinz Cafe again.

I ordered the Bolognese Spaghetti again, but the spaghetti was too soft, the first time I ate it was way better. Hahahaha

Poh ah Poh came to a conclusion that our profession is balanced, with Xiao Min and Jae Er on the Science field, me and Ah Kian on the accounting side, and Poh ah Poh herself in the middle, involving health and numbers.

We chatted about our family members, those who have elder siblings are hitting 30s, and the younger ones are graduating from highschool soon. Time flies sooooooooooooooo fast!

Even though we met only once a year (with Xiao Min in Australia, and Jae Er in Seremban), but I felt like we never left each other. At least I don't have the EHHHHH-LONG-TIME-NO-SEE-HOW-ARE-YOU-DOING?!!!! feeling. Hahahaha.

And also I didn't realise that we knew each other since 10 years ago! Well, not that accurate also. Because Jae Er was my primary classmate, I knew Ah Kian in Form 2 (if not mistaken la), and Poh ah Poh only transferred to my highschool when she was in form 4.

Nevertheless, I hope that we can continue to grow old up together, touching each others' lives wherever we go. :)

Convocation

Being working for more than half a year, attending convocation seems a weird thing to do. Haha.

Last time we always complained, aiya soooo looooooooooooonggggg need to wait 10 months for convocation, bo mood liao la!

And today, we just attended the convocation.

Seeing people from my class, which include the junior batch, I felt like we never left university.

Began the day by registration, getting the robe and hat for the first time, having Nek in helping me to pin my hat and my robe, getting flowers from my parents (though they actually self-made one bouquet at home hahahaha), and taking family potrait.

Then rehearsal, which ended quite fast so guests were allowed to enter the hall earlier than planned.

SEGi students were seated just behind the Masters graduands of Hyper Island (not sure why a university is named that name hahahaha), so basically we didn't need to wait too long to get on stage, but we did need to wait for other graduands from other universities to get on stage haha.

AND we ended the whole ceremony early too. Not sure was it too cincai (heard that ADP's convocation has performances while we had none ahaha), but nevertheless it was just for that 5 seconds for each individual, so it was alright hahaha.

The surprise came when I finally saw this guy (ask me where was the venue only when he arrived Sunway Clio Hotel -.-) from afar, and when I got nearer to him I saw this big bouquet of flowers. My mouth immediately hung wide open because he told me he will buy one flower and not a whole bouquet of flowers plus a bear.

Felt so warm and happy and blessed at the same time. Of course this is the first time receiving flowers, probably the last from him too ahhahahahaha. But that feeling will last forever! Thank you Husky! 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

Of course not to forget to thank my parents for their love for me. Their only child is officially graduated and I know that they're so proud with me. 💕💕💕💕👪👪👪

Tiramisu Cake

So me and Poh ah Poh had a meetup this noon. Went to Hinz Cafe, which I wanted to try long time ago.

Usually in cafes I'll order spaghetti, and I think not one cafe can beat Husky's spaghetti.

BUT!

Today I finally discover a similar taste of Husky's spaghetti, which is in Hinz Cafe!

We talked a lot about work, feel so good to be having "adult-conversation" with my friends. Some people never grow up. Whether they are 30 or 100. I always enjoy having real-life conversations with my friends at this age.

Also never fail to chat about relationships. Those were the days where we chatted about whose crush and whose crush and rumours regarding who and who. Nowadays we talked about how to strengthen our relationships, particularly with our partners. Talking about the problems we face, and how we should do to overcome it.

I realise in a lot of relationships, may I say MOST OF THEM are due to miscommunication. Maybe I can even say they are due to not communicating AT ALL.

If there's an invisible wall blocking the hearts of both parties, then it's time to speak it out. Don't underestimate the power of expressing your feelings.

Also, to celebrate her birthday (which is like 16 days to go xD), we ate a cake! She chose Tiramisu, remembering it's my favourite, which surprisingly I don't remember. Hahahaha. But basically I eat all types of cakes, chocolate, coffee, cheese, matcha, fruits, EXCEPT WITH THOSE BERRIES. Haha.

OMG I TELL YOU THE TIRAMISU IS SUPER NICEEEEEEEEEEE! It comes with a bit of cheese and chocolate, and chopped peanuts sprinkled on top of the cake. The tiramisu in it tasted sooooo sooooo gooooddddddd can I go back and eat again? xD

Once in A Year

This is our group chat in FB Messenger. HAHAHA. But not created by me one la.

I didn't meet the 4 of them up last year when Min came back, so it has been 2 years since I last saw Min and Jae Er but I did meet up with Ah Kian and Poh ah Poh last few months.

Me and Ah Kian went to Min's house to wait for Jae Er to come pick us up to KD for our not-sure-teatime-or-dinner. Min wanted to try Boat Noodle so we told Poh ah Poh who came from Cyberjaya to wait us there.

The weird thing about this shop is that whenever I Googled boat noodle kota damansara, it kept on gave me Boat Noodle EMPIRE Damansara. And when Poh ah Poh reached there earlier then us, she called me to reconfirm the location of the shop, probably it was hard for her to find it because she didn't know the exact location, and she was walking and not driving from outside where she can see the shop name.

When we reached the road that it's located, we couldn't find the shop too.

That was when Poh ah Poh called and exclaimed that the shop is CLOSED DOWN. -.-

Seriously, why shops in Giza kept on bankrupt one. *facepalm*

In the end we changed to Gyukingu Japanese BBQ. Min got expensive taste. *grin*

We ordered one set of mixed meat platter which is originally meant for 2 pax only because we thought we just tried something then will go for 2nd round. 

Self service. Hehe.

After that we kept on chit-chatting, updating each other with studies, more serious stuff. Then we took family pictures lol.

Then we went to Giza and continue our chit-chat at Gong Cha. Their version of Matcha Latte macam milk because it's pure white colour. It tasted like green tea but they didn't put the matcha powder so it's not green.

Min miscalculated and thought there were 6 of us when she counted the number of chairs needed in Gong Cha. Hahaha!

Then we chit-chatted somemore till 9p.m and off we went back.

We said that it was a bit awkward for us to start a conversation because it's too long since we see each other and we don't know which stories to tell and we don't know where to start. And we also concluded that even there are so many cafes and restaurants in KD but in reality there is not many choices for us to choose. Hahahaha. Probably because some of the shops closed down. Nevertheless, it was great and a day well-spent with them. :')

Poh ah Poh & Ah Kian

So finally we agreed to a date to meet up. Or else Poh ah Poh will be screaming at me JASMINE WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS SO BUSY?!!!!!! YOU DON'T NEED TO EAT ONE MEA?!!!!!

Ehem. Enough of screaming.

So we went to One U, Poh ah Poh wanted to eat in Pasta Zanmai. This was the first time of me being here, usually went to Sushi Zanmai to eat if we wanna eat Japanese food. So it was a new experience.

We finished our food pretty fast, and still had a lot of time to chit chat. We talked about Poh ah Poh's super-low-profile-until-it-seems-like-he-doesn't-exist bf (Husky, be thankful I didn't hide your existence until this level), talked about our studies + soon to graduate life, talked about Husky (this is the reason why I told him that he wasn't invited because I wanna gossip about his bad things hehehehe), and talked about why Ah Kian still no bf yet. :P

We kept on pestering Poh ah Poh to show us her sweet couple pictures, at least show a few that shows that they are close la, but she kept showing us those pictures with 'friendship pose'. -.-

Whenever I tell 10 people that Husky is from Johor and that I might fo to Singapore to work, 11 will tell me back that it's good because Johor is so near to Singapore. This happened again today and I was like,

HELLO SEGI UNIVERSITY IS NOT IN JOHOR OKAY IT'S IN KOTA DAMANSARA WHICH IS IN KUALA LUMPUR WHICH IS DEFINITELY NOT JOHOR.

Then we ordered a matcha cake as a sign to have an early celebration with her, no candles or light, just a bit of singing. Very low profile celebration. Like how she treats her bf of 2 years. Ngehehehe.

After that we walked for a while then they went back home.

So this was a short but quality time of us together. Definitely cherish these kind of times even though I don't really know how to miss people. HAHAHAHAHA. :P

Ohana Birthday~

So me, Qing, Husky and Darren went to Daorae, KD for lunch together as the 1st celebration for Qing's birthday. I wasn't feeling well so I ordered porridge. Or so I thought.

It turned out that the Korean version of porridge is rice + soup. -.-

And the funny thing was Husky wasn't seated next to me or in front of me. Both of us were sitting diagonal to each other. It made me harder to smack him. HAHAHAHA.

After that we went to Giza because their cars were parked there. Coincidently there was a colouring competition going on. Guess what? They asked me to go join. -.-

And everytime the emcee said something like "if you have finished please raise up your hand", they will ask me to raise up mine because they seriously treat me as if I'm one of the primary school kids. -.-

Obviously they had fun teasing me because I kept on sobbing while they kept on laughing. Qing even said that I'm her happiness. So it means that when she doesn't see me she will be super sad. Ha. Ha.

I just realised that the birthday girl didn't get to be the photographer hahahaha.

After tired of laughing at me (pity me, always the entertainer of the day TT ), Qing went back to her house and I went to Husky's and Darren's house.

Chit-chat with Husky, and slept on the sofa for a while then off we went for second round of celebration of Qing which was in D'Fortune, Menjalara.

Ah Wong already reached so when he saw me with two guys, he was like, which one is your bf ah? I was like, one of them la~ HAHAHAHAHA.

Then Yxin also arrived, but I didn't introduce that two fellas to her first simply because I was lazy to intro every time someone arrives. :P

Kitkat and Ah Juan were the last to arrive so after we ordered our meals, I one shot introduced Darren and Husky to them.

I introduced Darren first and when I was about to say end of introduction, Qing said the one beside me is my best~ friend~~ And they were like, ohhh~~~

But I scare Husky will cry at the corner there so I just smacked him and said my boyfriend la~ (Don't ask me why I always smack him, it's just a habit~ which I enjoy~ :D )

Then they OOHHHHHH~~~~~ :P


So while we had our meals we gossiped about other friends who weren't there. They bullied me again and I smacked Husky (again), told him to do his job (as a bf to protect his gf) but instead he joined the gang and bullied me also. -.-

I don't remember them teasing me as much as they did after we graduated. Everytime got outing, and was usually to celebrate someone's birthday, they will focus on bullying me instead.

Moral of the story: I made their day. That's why they like to makan with me. Me = their happiness.

After that, we sang Happy Birthday song, took turns to take picture with Qing, finished off my dinner, ate the cake (don't ask me why I still got dinner to eat after the singing session I'm too paiseh to write that down :\ ) and went back home.

She loves me to the max because I'm her source of happiness. -.-

THE UNPLUGGED NIGHT 2015

Weeks ago I wish that this event will come sooner because I'm so the excited!! And now, it had just finished.

Yesterday Nek informed me that I'll be assigned to the food counter. I was like NOOOOO YOU ASSIGNED ME TO THE WRONG DEPARTMENTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Because I'll be busy eating the food instead of helping to distribute the food YOU KNOW!

Ehem. Food aside.

Let's start with our last minute rehearsals which we couldn't do it a day earlier because there was no PA system to be there for us to test sound system.

You know what's the most important thing that a pianist need? A comfortable seat! The moment I sat on the chair the cushion sank so low and I instantly became few cm shorter. -.-

Wei Harn laughed at me (as if he never stop teasing my height) but when he sat on the chair it was my turn to laugh at him because it was too low for him as well AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

In the end everybody need to sit on a double chair ngehehehehehehehehehehehe.

Chairs aside.

PA system came very late and we kinda rush everything. The stars keep dropping and the deco team rushed to stick them on the staircase instead. When it was my turn to rehearse, the moment I sat down, I immediately felt a sharp pain on my legs and for a second I thought I won't be able to do anything tonight.

By 5.30pm, we were asked to drop everything and be prepared for the night.

Then! As I was about to wear my lens! This Gorgor! Entered the crew room! Shouted my name! And said! Lei lou mou lei jor!!

I was like huh? With a blank mind. Nek said your mother came already ah! The event haven't start and my mum came to fetch me back already? Err what? So the funny one? Then only Gorgor said your lou mou from Teesside came already. -.-

I almost wanna throw something at her. -.- Mama came early because he thought the event will start at 6pm. But we couldn't let him in first so he needed to walk around SEGi first. Sorry Mama. :( Papa couldn't make it last minute so I felt bad for Mama to come alone la. :(

Then as I just successfully wore my lens, just about to throw the plastics, someone shouted my name again (somemore with my surname -.-). And it was Wei Harn because there was a bit problem with the water dispenser so I was asked to take care of it. -.-

So Azri and I managed to solve the problem, fast forward, I had very little time to makeup and even change. So Nek did my makeup as usual, but compared to my makeup during White Night, this makeup is nothing la okay hahahahaha!!! I don't care whether I'm performing or what, just some eye shadow plus eyeliner is all I need. I didn't even put on lipstick so I think I looked pale as usual. :P

Then I got pressure out of sudden because YinHao and Hez arrived and I needed to pass them tickets collect their money and I needed to help out at the food counter AND I NEEDED SOMEBODY TO HELP ME SPRAY MY FRINGE!!!!!!

Nick and Wei Harn kinda noticed my state because they told me to stop being stressed so I calmed down and went back to the crew room, found the hair spray, but the only two persons in the room which is Felicia and Ashton didn't know how to spray hair and I got stress a bit again.

And that was when Ken came in!!!! I was like KEN YOU KNOW HOW TO SPRAY HAIR RIGHT?!!!! Of course yes he knows so he helped me to spray my fringe OMG I was so thankful because I didn't want to pin my fringe but if nothing was done I KENNOT see my music notes. HAHAHAHA.

So, fast forward to my first performance, which was to be a flowerpot for Wei Harn because last minute he asked me to help him flip his music scores. Then after that song immediately was my blues, which I did not do well at all. TT At least I didn't stop, and I successfully connected the part where I almost stopped because I played the wrong part. It was just a song with 2 pages. I KENNOT accept why I KENNOT play it flawlessly. :(

Anyway as I left the center and passed by Valerie, I kinda felt sad and told her that I messed it up and she kept on assuring me, no no, you did well, now you should go and change. Her expression and tone kinda made me feel better, so I just left my disappointment and rushed off to change to the SUMC Tshirt for opening performance, which was smooth, and we enjoyed ourselves. :D

After opening performance I rushed to change back to dress again HAHAHA, and prepared for the accompaniment for ballet. Again, it was a smooth performance and I was instantly relax when it ended.

Then I was like a wild horse roaming free, here and there. I couldn't really remember what I did after that. Hahahaha! Probably took selfies with people, chatted with them, feeling hungry looking at the pizzas etc.

I was really grateful that Nick, YinHao and Hez came. Especially Hez! Who purposely woke up early to work for the morning shift so that he can end his work early to attend this event. Those who know him knows how lazy he is and how difficult it is for him to wake up early. :P

And of course not to forget Qing. I'm so happy to have her here with us, and after the event we missed each other immediately because we won't be seeing each other every week already. :(

During our vocalists' performances, half of our crew opened the flashlight in our phones and waved it left right as if we were in the midst of a concert. Very nice effect hahaha!

And we ended with our closing performance, which I'm so glad because this is like the first event I got to be involved in the group picture after the event ended!

After the event, I realised that... I didn't selfie with Angel and Letitita and Valerie and Megan and Nancy and Qerene and Wendell and Jamie and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL I didn't selfie with NEK and QING (OMG I KENNOT BELIEVE IT) and YINHAO and HEZRIN and NICK(who disappeared halfway,  didn't even get to take a group picture with him).

I KENNOT BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED. I REALLY KENNOT!!!!!!!!!



Oh well.

I'm very blessed that I had the chance to not just be a photographer/videographer/supporter/cheerleader for my friends in an event, but a performer as well. It will definitely leave a huge footprint for me as I graduate and leave this place. Really thank God for every moments with every single person that I met throughout this year. It made a significant memory for me that will not be forgotten ever. :')
