Psalm 121:7

The Indonesia Trigana plane crash happened.

And then the explosion in Bangkok happened.

What are the connections? Nothing to other people, but yes to me and my parents because we are going to Bangkok by flight next month.

Sigh.

And because it's quite a serious incident (referring to what happened in Bangkok), we had second thoughts on whether to cancel the trip or not.

But looking back.

We booked our trip to countries like Vietnam, Japan and Shanghai after the MH370, MH17 and QZ8501 cases respectively. In fact, a stampede had happened during New Year Eve in Shanghai and the place, The Bund was exactly where we went in March this year.

The Erawan Shrine, where the explosion had happened, is a place that we passed by the last time we went to Bangkok. If I'm not mistaken, it's a must to pass by if you want to go to places like Siam Paragon.

And before we went to Hatyai this year, explosion actually occurred but we still went there anyway.

We began to realise the meaning of death with all these incidents happening. Either you die in a car accident, or trapped in the escalator.

But you can cheat death, as what happened to many people.

At least we know that, one day, when we die, we know where we are heading to. And that's what secure our hearts. :)
