HOPEFULLY I'M NOT CHANGING JOB ANYTIME SOON.
But compared with the 1st two trips, this is much much fun. Because for the 1st, not much colleagues on the same level. 2nd one is because I only know me and my mentor from same branch, the rest are all from different branches and different regions.
This time though, is actually similar condition. Most of my colleagues are seniors whom I'm not very familiar with. But we can click more, and even though more than half of them smoke and drink beer, I don't feel the pressure to do the same, unlike in my 2nd job. Where I was told that to build more relationships, you should do this and that blah blah.
Of course this was one of my concerns when I first joined. But what they told me was, we're discouraged to drink to build relationships. That's not sincere at all. But when they drink, it's merely to chill. No pressure at all.
Same industry, different culture.
It was indeed a fun trip with them, from adding police-drug addicts captions to photos we took, and ate After You twice (they said they are now looking for Before You -.-), to being questioned some sensitive relationship questions (so Husky are you a cat πΈ?), and the highlight of the trip is, whenever they see me with food, they will ask me eh Jasmine you eating ah? and when I'm not eating, eh Jasmine why you not eating one? or eh Jasmine you want to eat ah?

As if you guys never eat.

Oh, I need to mention that I felt nostalgic because some places reminded me of the times when me and my parents came to BKK. Still remember where we went, what we ate and what we bought. There are a lot new places of course, as my colleagues are quite familiar with the good food places where if you ask me to be tour guide I'll certainly forgot where I went. Because my job was just to follow everywhere they go. Hahahaha.
So, 3 countries in half a year. Time to start engine back for 2nd half of the year!!
