English.

So, the first thing I did during the holidays, other than watching the quite-old movies and lazying around sometimes, was reading an English book.

Not novel.

But a book on how to improve English. Actually the book's not mine, but it happened to be in my book shelf for no reason, so I just thought, since I'm always confused on how to use English grammar properly, I should at least flip through the book.

The book is like the normal English workbooks that we did in primary and secondary, just that it's much thicker and there are a lot of explanations.

In the end half of my confusion was answered, but of course, I am still puzzle on using grammar correctly.

However, as I'd observed through the explanations in the book, there are times when there are words which can be used either ways, and some of the clauses can be eliminated.

Languages are not like Maths, where there are fixed formulas. Languages are flexible and therefore, there isn't any fixed answers for every questions.

What is 1+1? It can be 2. It can be 0 too.
