In the past few days, I'd watched October Baby, Taken Back: Finding Haley and Catch Me If You Can, all are movies from the past few years.
The similarities? They are all adapted from true stories.
October Baby describes a girl who knew that she was adopted during an abortion failure and went on to discover the truth. It was very touching, and I was having teary eyes towards the end of the movie. It is based on the true story of Gianna Jessen.
Many times, just a small mistake can end up ruining other people's lives. But the mistake can turn out to be a great experience.
The soundtracks are awesome too so you should check the whole thing out.
Taken Back: Finding Haley, is inspired by countless children kidnapping cases which has happened since so many years ago, and unfortunately is still happening. This movie tells the story of the child being found in the end and is one of the rare cases where the abducted children have the chance to go back to their own homes. How scary it is to know from the statistics that most children are kidnapped from the area within the short radius from their homes.
Catch Me If You Can, a very very interesting story, starring Leornado Di Caprio, who always get nominated for the Oscars but never get the trophy how very sad. I love his movies so much.
Like the other two movies, it is based on a true story regarding this man who conned other people by disguising as a pilot, a doctor, a lawyer, you name it. He has the aptitude to forge signatures and cheques to get cash. Besides watching the movie, you should Google about it to see what the real person has to say about himself.
Last but not least, here is a video tagged by Ah Yi in Facebook about Marc Mero giving speech about his mother and I thought it will be nice to share it here too. After watching October Baby and Taken Back: Finding Haley, I just need to be more grateful with whatever I am having now.
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. - Luke 6:37
