Emotions

There are different types of emotions about relationships going on around me lately.

So there's this article involving emotions in workplace appeared in The Star last Saturday and today only I remember that I haven't read it yet.

The article is named as Understanding The Impact Of Emotions On You And Others At Work by Justin Ooi.

The last paragraph stated that "Since there’s no such thing as a perfect company, decide what you can do today to make your office a happier place."

AND---

"If you do find a perfect company, please don’t join it, as it would no longer be perfect. It’s healthy to take your job seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously – life really is too short."

In the midst of searching for jobs, sometimes I'm not sure whether to find a job that I really love because it's perfect for me or to search for a job that I don't like but that I should try my best to overcome and make it ideal for me.

And oh, while I was doing thesis and searching for info on young adults having difficulties buying properties, Siva Shanker said that there's no such thing as ideal home. You find a house, and make it ideal.

Funny how different phrases can be used repetitively for different context. Relationships, friendships, workplace etc.

“Unforgiveness is as effective as drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die”.

So pathetic, yet so true.
