Christmas 2015 Part 2

After the mime, two persons gave their testimonies. The first was a lady whose son had autism, and she faced hard challenges when he was a kid. Having an autism kid means that you might need to be isolated from the outside world because he might just throw tantrums out of nowhere in the public and people around you will shoot you with killer stares. Sometimes these kind of kids are so organised until the fact that they want to live their days 'again' if something happened unexpectedly.

For example, as this lady mentioned, she needed to memorise what was her son's 'schedule', starting from waking up in the morning, going to the kindergarten in the afternoon and dinner at night, something like this. But when a neighbour dropped by and said hi to him, he threw a fit because this is 'not included in his schedule'. So all he wanted was to 'erase his day', and go through it again starting from the morning. What happened was by the time he is ready to 'go to the kindergarten', the kindergarten had already closed.

Hence, more tantrums.

Now, her son is already 17 (if I didn't remember it wrongly), and he was in the church too. My, the first look at him, you won't even think that he had autism before. He looks like any young guys out there (quite good looking too hehehe), perhaps one of the most behaved teenagers that you can find. His mother ended her story by saying he's still as organised, but he is able to control himself when things don't go his way. Bless the mother for putting so much effort in bringing up this son. If God can love us with His unconditionally love, so can we. Though..sometimes we find it so hard due to society measures. Poor results, abnormal kids, disabled people etc etc.

Next, is a businessman.

His wife first became a Christian when she had problems giving birth to her son. She pulled the shutter of their factory up one day because the manager was late to work and caused her heavy bleeding. The baby couldn't be saved and needed to go through operation to get him out, this was what confirmed by doctor. The mother who wasn't a Christian then, remember what her Christian friends said to her, if anything goes wrong and you feel helpless, just shout Jesus name and miracle will happen. So this was what she did.

In that circumstances, she shouted for help in the name of Jesus. Instantly she felt peace and felt movement from her womb. Before the nurse pushed her to the operation theater she requested to get scanning to reconfirm whether she has chance to give birth to her baby or not. Indeed, the baby's head which was initially facing downwards (which was the reason why he couldn't be saved) out of sudden appeared to be facing upwards. Thus, his life was saved.

Even with this incident, the husband just wiped it off as 'coincidence'. When he had problems with his company, he couldn't sleep. Meanwhile his wife was able to sleep peacefully. He suspected his wife had enough money which resulted in her not thinking about the problems and he asked her to give him money to solve the problems. But no, she said, it wasn't money that allowed her to sleep through the night. It was by believing in Jesus that gave her the peace in her heart.

He was someone who persecutet her whenever she went to church, demanding for a divorce every Sunday. Yet, after 3 years and a half, he voluntarily went to church with her and started his new life as a Christian.

When people are successful, when people are happy with what they are having, they don't feel the need of trusting God. It's always when they are involved with circumstances then only they feel the need for protection and blessing.

Anyhow, it's Christmas. It's really the most wonderful time of the year, a warm day for us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. December is really a great month where it is the ending of the year and for us to reflect what we have throughout the year. Blessed Christmas people! :)
