Day 6
So today is my 22nd birthdaaayyyy! Woke up to a cloudy weather, receiving no calls from the agent to inform that the trip is cancelled again. Bahahaha. Instead, we had confirmation that the trip is on!!!
Weeeeeeee! Indeed it's God's plans to celebrate my birthday in Halong Bay hahahahaha. :D
And then we couldn't smile because it seemed that only 2 names were registered for the trip and I was like, so I no need go la now? *starting to wail*
In the end the guy managed to make some adjustments, the bus that we boarded NGAM NGAM for all of us only. Including me the extra person LOL. Not sure how they recorded the wrong number of persons, but it's okay, I got a seat. In the bus. Not on top of the bus. :P
After around an hour and a half journey, we stopped at a R&R which is actually a very big souvenir shop which items are marked up like 200% from the normal shops. But the restrooms are big and clean, me likey. (Y)

Selfie while waiting for our bus to come back to us. #overexposed |
And we boarded on the bus, continue our journey for another one and a half hour, I think.
 |
And we arrivedddd! |
 |
Got performance ohh~ |
 |
Our boat from outside~ |
 |
Our boat from inside~ |
 |
Teehee~ |
We had lunch inside the boat, and it stopped just in time for us to finish our meal.
 |
Tadaaaa~! |
There were 2 options: kayaking by our own, or just sit in the boat that is rowed by a local. Of course we chose the 2nd option, along with a Hong Kong couple.
It was actually VERY, VERY, VERY COLD. I even had to wear my gloves during the ride. It was even colder because it's a bay, very windy somemore.
 |
The rocks and err sand. Haha. |
 |
This is the funniest part where there is no in and out system and cause everybody to stuck there HAHAHAHA #trafficjam |
There were a lot of chaos in the tunnel because there is no limit on how many boats going in and out from the narrow tunnel at one time. Somemore there were people who chose to kayak so they had to be really careful. I saw 2 guys had trouble trying to balance the kayak, and one of them ended up losing his paddle because he was busy taking pictures with his DSLR and didn't notice that his paddle dropped into the water and floated far far away from him. AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
It's really beautiful and really a great weather. Thank God for that!

We went back to our boat after the activity and headed to another island. |
 |
The Lonely Island hahahaha |
 |
Me and the Lonely Island :P |
After that, we went hiking. Not really a steep mountain, but more to explore what's in the cave.
They looked fascinating because of the colourful lightings. If you are creative enough, you're able to detect granite that look like animals and humans.

The outside view after we came out from the cave. |
 |
:D |
Throughout our bus journey back to where they picked us up, I had the chance to chat with an Argentina lady who is a lawyer. Hehehe. This is the first time she visits Asia and she came with 2 of her friends. They had been traveling since 31st of Dec and they are going back to Argentina in few days. We also talked about local food and her career. Wish right away that I can go to Europe. Hehehe. All of my favourite cities are there!
#goworkfirstla #bomoneyla
We had late dinner and we asked our driver to fetch us to eat good Pho. So he brought us to a shop where I think serves the best Pho ever. It's beef noodles and it's really, really fulfilling! It was very cold outside and this bowl of hot noodles really made us warm. Make me feel that we should appreciate each and every moment whether it's hot or cold because when it's cold, you want heat and when it's hot, you want ice. Hahahaha.
 |
Best beef noodles!!!!!! |
 |
If you come to Hanoi, remember to find this shop okay! |
Actually throughout the whole day I forgot that it's my birthday hahaha. I just enjoyed it with my parents and felt tremendously blessed. :')
