Hanoi 2016 #5.

Day 9
Today the driver fetched a colleague's daughter who is 2 years older than me and me and my Mum to the Old Quarters. And she recommended the black chicken herbal soup so we went there for lunch.

They like to serve it with bread hahaha.

A bit too dry.
The black chicken herbal soup is quite good, just that hor, it looks so black until I don't really know what I just ate. Haha.

Then we jalan-jalan at the Old Quarters again before heading back to hotel and dropped the girl back to her hotel.

The rain wasn't that heavy compared to the days before, so me and my Mum walked to the Students' Market again. Maaannnnn, it was such a challenge to cross the roads. I kept on wailing and said maybe it's safer to just cross the roads with my eyes closed.

SERIOUSLY. Whether you're driving a car, or you're walking, or you're a motorcyclist, even if you're drunk you'll automatic become 200% awake because of the traffic in Hanoi. When you're walking, you not only look left look right, you need to look in front and look behind also. By the time there are no cars coming from your front direction, there are cars coming from your right direction. The cars just never stop coming. Boohoohoohooohoohooohoooooooo.

But we managed to erm faced all the so-called obstacles and arrived safely to the Students' Market. Yesterday we didn't manage to see much because it was drizzling. So we went again.

Ham chin beng!!!!! And hotdogs la.

This one!!! I pointed a similar one that another customer was eating so my mum pointed the one to the tauke. Turned out that it's not red bean dessert, it's pulut hitam on top and... YOGHURT AT THE BOTTOM!!!!!! SUCH A GOOD COMBINATION!!! No wonder I tasted something sour and thought that this dessert spoiled already but actually it's yoghurt. OMG SO NICE!

And we walked until late evening only walked back to our hotel, just in time to have dinner with Dad who just finished work.

BTW they kept the Christmas tree and replaced it with this dry CNY tree already hahaha.
Day 10
Time to go back! Just like when we came back from Shanghai, we immediately complained that the weather in Malaysia is too hot and would like to take the next flight back to Hanoi. HAHAHA.

Bye Hanoi! See you next winter! If I ever come back again la ahahahah!
