The River

Isaiah 44:3 

3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

- God can only give us His blessings if we allow Him to do so

- There's an unique fulfillment that comes from God only

- God is like the source of river

- God's life, His unique kind of life, flows into all cultures, all nations, in all times. It can flow into any personality, any marriage, anywhere

- Don't feel disqualified by God, He is deeply interested to flow in your lives

- God's Living River brings life to the lifeless, hope to the hopeless, healing to the broken and fruitfulness to the barren

- We don't get into the river, the river gets into us

- The purpose of life is fruit: Anything produced by God's life in our lives

At some times, you don't feel like a Christian, but think about the past where God has bring you joy in times like that.

This sentence strikes me so much. Because I've been feeling upset the past few weeks, it's like something drain my joy out, and I was also disappointed with myself for having such negative feelings.

I hope that this sentence remains as a life-time reminder for me whenever I feel down. :)
