Matthew 6:11

Being a Christian, and wanting to do business, seems like a coin to me because being humble as a Christian is God's commandment, but business is often being associated to words like greed, bribery, black market, and err, fat tummy.

You know what's a coin? It's an object with two totally different faces.

I'm often curious. Why some of the businessmen likes to happy happy only willing to sign contract? Why need to meet at pubs? Why need to drink alcohol? Why need you to do silly stupid things only half-willing to start discussing about business?

I know that this doesn't apply to all businessmen but at many times, it's the reality.

I see people fighting over money, destroying relationships especially between family members, I see people getting in serious trouble because of the word greed, and I see people suffering due to poverty.

Christianity and money. They just don't associate with each other. At least that's what I thought.

But as I was reading the Daily Bread, I saw this article and it opened my heart.

"Give me neither poverty nor riches --- feed me with the food allotted to me; lest I be full and deny You and say, 'Who is the Lord?' Or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God"

Discontentment makes rich people poor; while contentment makes poor people rich.

Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11
